OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer / Architect to join our ICT Engineering & Operations team. Our diverse and skilled team is already looking forward to welcoming your support.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust ICT system architectures and their implementationFurther develop our hybrid IT system landscape (OnPrem & Cloud) and support the definition of standards, guidelines, and strategic topicsIdentify areas for optimization and further develop automated solutionsEnsure a stable and high-performance server infrastructureTroubleshooting and providing 2nd-/3rd-level support for server infrastructureManage and optimize storage solutionsCreate and maintain technical documentationPreparing decision-making bases for the architecture board and leading the architecture boardHardskillsUniversity degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualificationSolid knowledge in administration and configuration of server environmentsAt least 5 years of experience in the following areas:Automation solutions, backup solutions (Veeam)Windows operating systems (Windows Server) and their administration and security, Linux is an advantageActive Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Entra ID and Microsoft AzureBasic understanding of network architectures, VPN, and security conceptsProficiency in both German and English is requiredSoftskillsAnalytical and solution-oriented mindsetHigh level of initiative and ability to work independentlyStrong team player with a collaborative attitude in interdisciplinary teamsCustomer- and service-oriented approachStructured working style and strong documentation skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable wayWillingness to continuously learn and openness to new technologiesWe offer youAn open and collegial corporate cultureRoom for ideasParticipation in sports and leisure activitiesSupport through further training, especially at our SKAN AcademyIntensive and job-orientated induction trainingShort decision-making processes and flat hierarchiesOpen communication policy5 weeks holiday and the possibility of additional days offAdditional InformationTo apply, please upload your complete application documents (CV, diplomas, and work certificates) on our careers page.For questions please contact Steffan Fluri.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesMachinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
