Apply nowOverviewIndustry 4.0, IoT, cloud, security, and digitalization – the convergence of IT and OT (operational technology) is advancing. At SKAN, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in IT/OT projects in an international environment. You will provide system engineering services for our IT-OT team, particularly in a qualified/validated environment.ResponsibilitiesPlanning and implementation of challenging IT/OT projects in an industrial environmentTaking on leadership and responsibility for sub-projects to enhance and maintain SKAN's IT/OT infrastructure to a high standardCollaborating with internal and external departments for error analysis and troubleshooting (2nd and 3rd level support)Managing change processes, operating environment documentation, and manuals to ensure high standardsMeeting qualification and validation requirements, conducting system tests, and documenting themHard skillsUniversity degree in computer science or a comparable qualificationExtensive knowledge of designing, setting up, and troubleshooting company-wide IT-OT server infrastructures (Microsoft server technologies, VMware, Citrix including ADC, MS SQL, Powershell/scripting)Practical experience implementing business requirements for IT-OT infrastructure, especially in SME and pharmaceutical environmentsSeveral years of professional experience in IT-OT server infrastructure/system engineering, with relevant certifications (Citrix Expert, Microsoft Admin, VCP, etc.)Experience with business analysis, requirements engineering, and computer system validationGood understanding of processes in pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industriesITIL certification and knowledge of CSAdditional training in project management is advantageousProficiency in German and EnglishSoft skillsSolution-oriented and structured thinkingHigh quality standardsOpen communicationPrecise and careful working styleWhat we offerAn open and collegial corporate cultureRoom for ideasSupport through further training, especially at SKAN AcademyIntensive and job-oriented induction trainingShort decision-making processes and flat hierarchiesOpen communication policy5 weeks of holiday plus additional days offFor questions, please contact Steffan Fluri.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesMachinery ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at SKAN by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “System Engineer” roles.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
