Overview
Industry 4.0, IoT, cloud, security and digitalisation – the convergence of IT and OT (operational technology) is advancing. At SKAN, you have the opportunity to actively participate in IT/OT projects in an international environment. You will provide system engineering services for our IT-OT team, particularly in the qualified/validated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementation of challenging IT/OT projects in an industrial environment
  • In a rapidly growing company, you will take on the leadership and responsibility of exciting sub-projects to bring the SKAN IT/OT infrastructure to a highly professional level and maintain it there.
  • In close cooperation with internal and external departments, you will be responsible for error analysis and troubleshooting (2nd and 3rd level support).
  • To ensure high standards, you will operate the environment in change management and be responsible for the operating manuals and documentation.
  • You will ensure that the high qualification/validation requirements for the basic infrastructure are met, carry out system tests and document them.

Hardskills

  • University degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Very good knowledge of the design, setup and operation/troubleshooting of company-wide IT-OT server infrastructures (focus: Microsoft server technologies, VMware, Citrix incl. ADC, MS SQL, Powershell/scripting)
  • You are familiar with the practical implementation of business requirements for IT-OT infrastructure and already have project experience in the SME and/or pharmaceutical environment
  • You already have several years of professional experience in the field of IT-OT server infrastructure/system engineering and have supplemented your basic training with relevant additional training/certifications (Citrix Expert, Microsoft Admin, VCP or similar)
  • Experience in engineering and operating IT and OT applications on a Citrix platform
  • You are familiar with business analysis, requirements engineering and computer system validation from practical experience
  • You have a good understanding of processes in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries
  • ITIL certification and proven knowledge of CS
  • Further training in project management is an advantage
