With operations in over 18 countries, the company employs about 600 people. We are looking to strengthen our Innovation Team with a curious, communicative, and flexible Data Engineer. In this role you will solve problems, learn quickly, and work in an environment where new ideas are tested and implemented. Responsibilities Explore, design, and implement innovative data‑driven solutions for intralogistics challenges. Clean, structure, and transform complex data sets using Python, SQL, and modern data tools. Create and maintain databases and pipelines to enable research, prototyping, and business use cases. Contribute to complex, cutting‑edge deep‑learning projects with programming skills and mathematical thinking. Process and analyze signal data in close collaboration with hardware and software teams. Support on‑site data acquisition when necessary and travel internationally. Conduct simulations. Qualifications Background in computer science, data processing, mathematics, or a related field. University degree or equivalent practical experience. Strong knowledge of Python and SQL with practical experience in data processing (cleaning, pipelines, database design). Practical experience with common Python data packages such as pandas or NumPy. Flexible and proactive mindset with strong communication skills and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration. Curiosity and ability to acquire new knowledge quickly in a fast‑changing environment. Fluent English and German, written and spoken (C1–C2). Preferred Experience with Docker or containerized applications. Knowledge of deep‑learning concepts or applied ML experience.> Background in data analysis, signal analysis, or applied data science.
