For a major client based in Zurich, we are looking immediately for a Linux System Engineer.

Tätigkeiten:

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  1. Disaster Recovery
  2. Work with Application Teams and Disaster Recovery Project/Coordinator to plan / execute disaster recovery tests.
  3. Actively resolve/document issues discovered during DR testing.
  4. Improve automation of the DR process, to minimize manual effort and speed up recovery time.

Anforderungen:

  1. Solid education preferably in IT or similar.
  2. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  3. Knowledge of Disaster Recovery principles/practices and involvement in DR exercises (such as Business Continuity Testing).
  4. Knowledge of tools such as Ansible/Git to improve automation of the DR process, minimizing manual effort and speeding up recovery time.
  5. Knowledge of using backup tools (such as Netbackup/Networker/etc.) for Disaster Recovery.
  6. Fluent in English; German is nice to have.
