Linux Engineer

Location: Zurich

Job Description:

  • Maintain and upgrade existing Platform OS integration components
  • Drive RHEL migration journey
  • Development of Ansible playbooks for release rollouts and operational purposes
  • Enhancement of existing Platform service implementations
  • Contribute to the Platform Modernization
  • Provide 3rd Level Support of production environments

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent with a focus in system engineering
  • Experience as Linux system engineer for complex applications
  • Experience with Apache/Tomcat on UNIX/Linux environment
  • Working experience with technologies such as Kafka, ZooKeeper, Elasticsearch, Ignite
  • Perl skills would be a plus
  • Exposure to Java technologies would be a plus
  • Working experience with Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge in tools such as GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Good communication skills and able to coordinate technical discussions and activities
  • Self-initiative and comfortable working on a wide range of topics

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
