Job Description:

An ambitious forward-thinking Swiss Medical Dermatology company has an exciting career opportunity for a Medical Representative to work in Geneva and surrounding territories.

Stratpharma has, over the past 5 years, experienced tremendous growth in the European market and is keen to build a team in Switzerland to further this success.

With impressive year-on-year growth, Stratpharma currently has 9 products on the market with a further 5 more in development which will soon add to an already strong portfolio.

The Medical Representative is responsible for delivering consistent performance results within a defined geographical area.

These individuals will promote breakthrough wound care, gynecology, radiotherapy, and dermatology products that launched into the Swiss market several years ago.

Tasks

  1. Achieving and exceeding individual territory business and revenue goals.
  2. Providing education and training to account staff.
  3. Preparing and presenting business proposals including account metrics and benchmark information.
  4. Identifying key customers and thought leaders within the territory.
  5. Effectively deploying necessary resources to yield the greatest business impact.
  6. Developing thorough account plans for all strategic customers.
  7. Managing territory budget.
  8. Executing Sales Process effectively.
  9. Delivering sales message/presentation in an organized and effective manner.
  10. Demonstrating exceptional product and competitive knowledge and using it effectively in planning and implementing sales presentations.

Organization/Time Management

  1. Independently planning territory routing to consistently achieve territory-account coverage.
  2. Submitting all administrative reports, expense reports, and business plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Prioritizing daily tactics based on greatest business impact.

Customer Relations

  1. Demonstrating a customer-centric approach to business planning, use of medical promotion skills, and sales process.
  2. Uncovering the customer’s needs and providing the appropriate information, resources, and message to deliver maximum value.
  3. Leveraging knowledge of key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to identify the territory network in the plastic surgery community.
  4. Developing and building long-term strategic business relationships with core customers.

Requirements

  1. 2+ years of current medical sales experience within Gynecology, Radiotherapy, Wound Care, or Dermatology desirable.
  2. Experience in promoting OTC or Rx products.
  3. Call points are Pharmacies and Medical professionals.
  4. Sales experience within prescription devices or drugs is advantageous.
  5. Must have excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  6. Able to work independently.
  7. Documented medical promotion success.
  8. Fluency in the local language and English.
  9. University degree.
