Who is EthonAI?

EthonAI is an AI-powered platform that detects, monitors, and prevents quality defects in manufacturing. According to Sifted, EthonAI is one of the nine most promising startups in Switzerland. Our software products are used by world-leading manufacturing companies and have been proven to reduce production waste by up to 50% while increasing job satisfaction of factory workers. What is this job about?

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to work on our MAS analytics products. You will have the opportunity to transform cutting-edge research into a product that is deployed in factories around the globe. You will have the responsibility to overview the conceptual design, implementation, testing, and deployment. What do you need to succeed in this role?

Your Roles & Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of design projects for our platform, from initial concept through to final implementation, ensuring a hands-on, action-oriented approach at every step.

  • Work closely with our product team (including a Senior UX/UI Designer) and customers to understand user needs and develop concepts, flows, wireframes, detailed visuals, interactive prototypes, etc.

  • Collaborate with engineers and project management to ensure that designs are implemented accurately, while taking into account the constraints and opportunities for moving fast and iterating.

  • Stay connected to the reality of our users through UX research and help us expand our offering while perfecting each product.

  • Support branding efforts by refining our website, creating marketing materials, and designing presentations as needed.

Your Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design.

  • Proficiency with Figma.

  • A strong portfolio of UX design work, demonstrating an ability to design intuitive and user-centered interfaces for complex technical products.

  • Familiarity with design systems and responsive design principles.

  • Experience in designing user interfaces for deep tech SaaS products is a plus.

  • Experience in data visualization is a plus.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • At ease working with shifting priorities, and continually adjusting structures and processes.

  • Strong motivation to work in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
