Your Opportunity

Location: Stabio (20% smart working) or Milan (40% smart working)

How will You contribute

As Senior SOD Expert you will support the SOD (Segregation of Duties) Teams with a particular focus on:
  1. Periodical update of SOD risk assessment;
  2. Maintain the Business Processes SOD matrix:
    1. Periodically updating SOD conflicts applicable to the group;
    2. Identifying potential or actual SOD conflicts within the business process;
    3. Identifying systems relevant for SOD purposes;
    4. Periodically updating SOD compensating controls.
  3. Support management in initiatives aimed at mitigating SOD conflicts risks (e.g., review of process flow, definition of compensating controls);
  4. Enhance Control Frameworks: Identify and address gaps in the internal control environment relating to SOD issues, providing guidance and recommendations to improve controls and minimize risks;
  5. Design Effective Training Programs: Develop comprehensive and engaging awareness training that educates employees on internal control best practices and compliance obligations;
  6. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with finance, audit, legal, IT, and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of SOD requirements;
  7. Support ICFR Team in performing Sox Risk Assessment, including fraud/segregation of duties considerations;
  8. Coordinate with internal and external auditors on the annual control testing plan and provide support to them to ensure timely and smooth completion of SOD process.

Who You Are
You are a professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, especially on SOD projects, for a Consultancy Company or in a company with a structured organization.

You have:
  1. Knowledge of SOD requirements and methodology;
  2. Knowledge of Data Analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx);
  3. Ability to work in a team and problem-solving approach;
  4. Flexible and proactive attitude;
  5. Fluency in spoken and written English;
  6. Fluency in spoken and written Italian.
