Hilo is seeking a highly hands‑on Senior Data Analytics Lead to own and advance the company's BI and analytics ecosystem. You will shape the BI platform (Metabase), ensure data accuracy and consistency, build KPI frameworks and translate complex clinical and operational workflows into actionable insights that drive data-informed decision‑making across Product, Growth, Marketing and Clinical teams. This role sits at the centre of how data is used across the organisation, elevating analytics from reporting to a strategic capability by demonstrating its power, evangelising best practices, educating teams and empowering stakeholders to make better decisions with data. Why This Role is Unique: Foundational position with end-to-end ownership of Hilo's BI platform and analytics foundations Pioneering analytics role in HealthTech with direct impact on cardiovascular health Hands‑on collaboration with product managers, engineers, clinicians, and external partners Opportunity to design, implement, and optimise analytics systems that inform high‑level strategic decisions Highly visible, central role responsible for elevating data maturity across the organisation—acting as an analytics thought partner, educator and advocate for data‑driven decision‑making Career‑defining opportunity to shape how data and analytics are embedded across Hilo's culture, processes, and long‑term strategy Your Role: Own, maintain, and enhance Hilo's BI platform (Metabase) to deliver accurate, consistent, and actionable insights Design and refine KPI frameworks, cohort analyses, and operational metrics Partner with Product and Clinical teams to define event tracking, analyse user behaviour, and optimise feature adoption, adherence, and operational workflows Analyse onboarding funnels, retention, churn, monetisation, and acquisition metrics across Band and Lens products Support experimentation frameworks and A/B testing using Statsig or similar tools Translate enterprise/B2B requirements into structured, compliant analytics pipelines and dashboards for future scalability Provide operational analytics support for the existing B2B platform, including managing partner accounts and data requests, maintaining reporting configurations, and monitoring platform health, data integrity, and overall performance Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Growth teams to evolve analytics capabilities Operate autonomously as an analyst, project owner, and driver of your workstreams, ensuring alignment and quality across stakeholders Requirements: MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data analytics, BI, or product analytics, ideally in SaaS, mobile apps, or HealthTech Proven track record building operational dashboards, implementing KPI frameworks, and delivering actionable insights Experience with cross‑functional teams (Product, Engineering, Clinical, Growth) Strong proficiency in SQL and analytics workflows Experience with BI/product analytics tools (Metabase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker); visualization experience (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus Familiarity with Python for analytics and data manipulation Knowledge of cohort analysis, A/B testing, funnel metrics, KPI tracking, and data quality assurance Experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and data modeling is a plus Experience in startups or fast‑moving environments; familiarity with regulated or clinical data is advantageous Highly proficient English; French, German, or Italian is a plus Highly organized, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a high‑velocity environment Location: Swiss-based (remote/hybrid flexibility possible depending on team alignment) Your Impact: Deliver high‑quality, scalable analytics outputs that drive decision‑making across Product, Growth, Clinical, and Leadership teams Build the foundation for future B2B analytics capabilities, ensuring scalable, compliant, and traceable data systems Shape Hilo's analytics culture and infrastructure at a critical stage of growth Elevate how data and analytics are understood and used across the organisation—empowering teams, increasing analytical maturity and embedding data‑driven thinking into everyday decisions Make a tangible, long‑term impact on how Hilo operates, scales and ultimately improves cardiovascular health—making this a truly career‑defining role within a mission‑driven healthtech company Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Analyst Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
