Helio is a Swiss startup based in Zurich and is building the first carbon-aware cloud: By increasing the utilization rates of data centers worldwide (over 80% of the resources are not being used), accelerating the adaption of green energy sources (data centers consume around 5% of the global energy and are responsible for the same amount of Green House Gas as the aviation industry), and extending the lifetime of the hardware, Helio lowers the emissions of the cloud industry significantly.

At Helio with this hands-on and entrepreneurial role, you will:
  • Play a crucial role in building the product(s) that will help the company grow at a super-fast pace, deliver on investors' expectations, and become a global cloud player: from the seed stage to IPO.
  • Collaborate closely with the functional teams and founder to deliver our customers the best product(s).
  • Communicate efficiently between the different stakeholders - mainly the customers and the functional teams.
  • Define, iterate, and deliver the product vision for Helio’s main innovation(s):
    • The Helio 3D rendering product serves the architecture visualization market and expands into visual effects (VFX).
    • The Helio core product shifts workloads between different clouds and optimizes for costs, capacity, and emissions.
  • Iterate on the internal product management process to accelerate velocity, reach product-market fit, and deliver a 10x better solution for our customers.
  • Fine-tune and iterate on the product strategy and vision.
  • Prioritize the product backlog items (features, bugs, etc).
You’ll be an excellent fit for the job if you:
  • Have a strong technical background - even better in 3D or cloud infrastructure.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Are reliable and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Like working independently and as a part of a team.
  • Are very data-driven, entrepreneurial, and organized.
  • A fluent level of English is required.
  • German skills are a plus.
