Process Project Engineer agap2 is a European engineering and operational consulting group founded in 2005 and specialized in the industry. As a consultant, you will support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and skills. You are agile and eager to adapt to different work environments that will fuel your curiosity of seeing what’s behind the closed doors of the biggest projects of our client’s portfolio. As a Process Project Engineer, you will play a crucial part in the design, implementation, and optimization of complex processes within the Pharma and Chemical industries. Key Responsibilities Feasibility studies, Concept Design, Basic Design and Detailed Design for process equipment Process Design: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date P&IDs, PFDs and URS to ensure efficient and safe operations. Equipment Sizing: Conduct detailed calculations and simulations to determine the optimal size and capacity of process equipment. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement of necessary materials and equipment. Change Management: Proactively identify and implement process improvements, including supplier changes, to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Required Profile Engineering's degree in Pharma/Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in process engineering within the Pharma or Chemical industry. Strong understanding of process design principles, equipment sizing, and P&ID development. Proven project management skills, including task allocation, progress tracking, and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus). Fluent in English and German.
