Responsibilities
- Design and implement Lakera’s core infrastructure features in close collaboration with the founding team.
- Optimize and automate our cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters to support high availability and scalability.
- Develop and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, particularly through GitLab, to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Collaborate with ML teams to build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model deployment and performance monitoring.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure through best practices in IAM policies, network segmentation, and secret management.
- Mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related roles, with a strong impact on organizational infrastructure.
- Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC, S3, RDS) and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm) and strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
- Familiarity with MLOps pipelines and infrastructure for large language models (LLMs) in local or cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to infrastructure challenges.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
