- Acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing accounts in the XPress division across Switzerland.
- Close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as branch managers and sales managers to create cross-selling strategies that benefit multiple customer portfolios.
- Building and maintaining an active sales pipeline using our CRM system.
- Designing and implementing strategic sales approaches for the XPress division with a focus on achieving self-defined, realistic sales targets.
- Strategic cooperation with national marketing and product management teams to plan and execute effective sales campaigns.
- Serving as the key contact for implementing new customer projects, including setting up orders, operational execution, and onboarding new clients.
- Preparing proposals and setting up new customer accounts within the XPress division.
- Handover of standardized customer process plans (SOPs) to the inside sales team.
- Continuously optimizing and enhancing the XPress product offerings in close collaboration with the product team.
- Completed commercial training (preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or ideally KEP).
- 2-3 years of practical experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of the XPress/KEP market and business structures.
- Strong operational understanding of sales, customer service, documentation, and dispatch.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when dealing with customers.
- High level of organizational skills and responsibility to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken; additional knowledge of French or Italian is a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with transport management systems is an advantage.
