Are you ready to take full ownership of a finance function, influencing the entire business from financial strategy to day-to-day operations in a rapidly expanding company?

MacGregor Black is proud to partner with a Rapidly Expanding SME Consumer Goods Business, searching for a hands-on Financial Director. This is a full-time role based in Zurich.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Take full ownership of the finance function, overseeing everything from strategy to financial reporting.
  2. Provide direct financial insights to the board and senior leadership, influencing key business decisions.
  3. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support sustainable growth.
  4. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  5. Monitor and improve financial processes, controls, and KPIs to drive efficiency and profitability.

What We're looking for?

  1. A strong track record in financial leadership, ideally within an SME environment.
  2. A strong background in financial control and cash management.
  3. Must have experience in the consumer goods, retail, or FMCG sectors.
  4. Must have a very hands-on approach, with the ability to manage both strategic and operational finance tasks.
  5. Fluent German and English language skills (additional languages are a plus).
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
