We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Service Team Member / International Freight Forwarder (m/f/d) to join our 3PL team, specializing in new lane implementation for ocean freight operations originating from Belgium.

YOUR FUTURE TASKS:

  1. Coordinate the implementation of new ocean freight lanes from Belgium, ensuring smooth operational setup and customer satisfaction.
  2. Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to specific customer and lane requirements.
  3. Manage first-level escalations and deviations, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation phase, providing updates and proactive solutions.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and contract managers, to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
  6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for process improvement.
  7. Participate in and support day-to-day operational tasks as required to ensure seamless execution.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  1. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), Flamish is a plus.
  2. Experience in ocean freight logistics, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  4. Demonstrated experience in drafting and managing SOPs.
  5. Willingness to engage in hands-on operational work as part of daily responsibilities.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals.
