Job DescriptionAs part of the Sales Team at Emerson, the Sales Engineer (m/f/d) for the Eastern Switzerland region will work closely with technical inside sales and engineering departments to advise and support customers, acquire new customers, and drive solution‑based sales across business units.In This Role: Your ResponsibilitiesProvide professional on‑site support and consultation to customers in the Eastern Switzerland region, acting as a reliable and trusted partner at eye level.Collaborate with the internal technical team to develop customized optimizations for customer applications that address technical, economic, and process‑related requirements.Conduct negotiations and conclude contracts within your sales territory, with a clear focus on sustainable and long‑term business relationships.Manage existing customer accounts in a structured way while actively acquiring new and target customers to continuously expand the customer portfolio.Drive solution‑based sales across business units, with a strong emphasis on innovative automation solutions from the comprehensive Emerson Automation Solutions portfolio.Monitor market and competitor activities, including the analysis and preparation of relevant information to strategically enhance your sales territory.Represent the company at trade fairs and sales events, build relationships, identify trends, and present our solutions convincingly.Who You AreYou’re a proactive self‑starter with a strong hunter mentality.
