In this role - based in either Zurich or Lugano - you will be responsible for designing and delivering technical solutions for regulatory transaction reporting under MiFIR, MiFID II, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG Articles 39 and 104. YOUR CHALLENGE Design, develop, and maintain scalable technical solutions for regulatory transaction reporting obligations under MiFIR, MiFID II, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG Articles 39 and 104 Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into robust, auditable IT architectures and integrated system designs Lead end-to-end solution delivery from requirements analysis and impact assessment through to implementation, testing, and deployment in collaboration with cross-functional teams Integrate custom Java-based backend systems with advanced analytics and data platforms, particularly within the Dataiku DSS ecosystem, to enable automated and compliant reporting workflows Ensure solutions meet stringent non-functional requirements, including high availability, performance, scalability, and adherence to security and change management standards Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Front Office, and Operations stakeholders to interpret evolving regulatory mandates and translate them into actionable technical specifications Drive automation and continuous improvement of reporting processes using CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Octopus Deploy Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory reporting frameworks within the EMEA region, acting as a key technical liaison between business units and IT Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, data flows, and configurations in Confluence and JIRA, in line with Agile (SAFe) practices YOUR PROFILE 5+ years of software development experience in the financial services industry, with strong expertise in Java and enterprise-grade application development Proven experience in translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable IT solutions, with a focus on service-oriented architecture and system integration Knowledge of regulatory transaction reporting framework, including MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR Refit, and FINFRAG Art39 and Art104 is preferred Proven hands‑on experience with Dataiku DSS and Informatica PowerCenter (or Integration Layer) in production environments, including the integration of custom Java-based backend systems with analytical platforms Proficient in database technologies (Oracle, PL/SQL) and writing efficient, complex SQL queries for reporting and validation Solid experience with DevOps tools and practices: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Octopus Deploy, and configuration/deployment automation in Agile (SAFe) environments Skilled in working independently on Linux systems with operational knowledge of JBoss application servers Strong command of Agile methodologies (SAFe), JIRA, and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capability to tackle ambiguous or complex challenges and deliver effective, high‑quality solutions Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in German and/or Italian is a strong advantage Willingness and ability to travel between Zurich and Lugano, depending on the agreed primary place of work We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
