Liquid lenses have been Optotune’s core business since its inception in 2008. While they are used in many different applications, the machine vision segment has become the largest - and the growth has only just started Partnerships with objective lens makers and camera companies result in more seamless end-user integration and multiply our market access. Your job is to understand market requirements & trends, find new applications in the imaging space, define the next generation of liquid lens products, expand strategic partnerships, and scale the business.

Tasks
  • Strategic development of Optotune’s machine vision business
  • Acquisition of new customers worldwide
  • Development of strategic partnerships with key players of the industry
  • Market research & definition of new products
  • Creation of sales & training materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Content creation for marketing materials
  • Participation in trade shows
Requirements
  • Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in machine vision
  • Experience in management consulting is advantageous
  • Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships
  • Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions
  • Passion for technology & innovation, winning personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
  • Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous
  • Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
