Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer is expected to oversee the following key areas:

  • Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable in terms of personnel and delivery, ensuring compliance with Swiss and French accounting standards.
  • Integrate payroll and travel cost and expense management systems.
  • Oversee fixed assets and other sub-ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Coordinate financial consolidation and reporting to the Chief Performance Officer.
  • Ensure tax compliance, internal controls, and adherence to applicable legal, fiscal, and accounting norms.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure seamless financial operations.

The Ideal Candidate

The Chief Financial Officer should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a Chartered Accountant certification.
  • At least 10 years of experience in full responsibility of accounting, with 5+ years of experience as a team manager.
  • Proficient knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and French accounting standards, including consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • A pragmatic, result-oriented mindset, with a habit of maintaining a high-performing team.
