To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with experience in Infrastructure. Our mission is for one of our clients, a Private Bank in Geneva. As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a team which designs and integrates software applications, ranging from portfolio management systems to sales and corporate solutions. It prioritizes innovation, ensures business continuity, and has a strong appetite for new technologies and methodologies such as Agile, DevOps and Cloud. Your responsibilities: You will design, build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS such as EKS cluster, using best practices for performance, security, scalability and cost optimization. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across various environments, guiding code through each stage of the software development lifecycle. You will manage templates for the capabilities used in the platform such as CI/CD pipelines and Terraform infrastructure as code (IAC). You will monitor system performance, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. You will draft and be in charge of documentation of infrastructure configurations, roll‑out pipelines and DevOps best practices to ensure consistency for your team. Qualifications You justify a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field. You possess proven experience working in a DevOps role with a focus on infrastructure and operation. You show a passion for and experience in building resilient, secure and scalable services. You are experienced with public cloud providers (e.g. AWS), especially with multi‑tenant architectures. You have proficiency in Git, Git workflows and infrastructure as code (IAC), using tools such as Terraform. You have an AWS, Kubernetes and/or Terraform certification. You possess scripting and automation skills. You consider yourself a problem solver, with good communication skills. You speak English and French.
