Position Overview We are seeking an Automation Engineer with proven experience in DCS systems, specifically Siemens PCS7, to support a key automation project within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Bern area. You will contribute to the configuration, implementation, and commissioning of automation solutions, ensuring compliance with project requirements and GMP standards. Key Responsibilities Configure and implement control systems using Siemens PCS7 Support development of control strategies and system architecture Contribute to software development, simulation, and validation of automation code Collaborate with engineering, process, and QA teams to ensure system compliance Participate in commissioning, testing (FAT/SAT), and troubleshooting of DCS systems Ensure adherence to GMP requirements and project quality standards Document technical solutions and support project reporting Profile Requirements Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field Experience in Siemens PCS7 development and configuration (essential) Previous experience in biotech/pharmaceutical projects preferred Knowledge of GMP and validation principles Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with technical and quality stakeholders Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and team player attitude Fluent in English (spoken and written) – German is a plus Why Join Inova?
