As our IT Security Architect (m/f/d), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect our assets and data in a hybrid environment (on-prem and cloud). You will play a hands-on role in day-to-day cyber security defense operations in addition to undertaking design and implementation of security-enforcing technical controls. What to expect

  1. You ensure IT security solutions are designed and implemented in adherence to security requirements (local and Group level).
  2. You drive maturity improvements analysis and implementation, adopting suitable latest industry trends.
  3. You design and implement together with the IAM team, Identity and Access Management (IAM/PAM) solutions to secure access to organization resources and information.
  4. You support IT colleagues while working in strict contact with IT architecture, providing IT Security advice and guidance to enhance the security of any application or service.
  5. You support IT Security operations in analyzing threats to identify potential security risks and define possible mitigation strategies.
  6. You embed security within the DevOps lifecycle, promoting a culture of security awareness within the development and operations teams.
  7. You work closely with the rest of the cyber security team, providing security expertise, responding to security questions, and undertaking impact assessments of multiple topics, e.g., projects, cloud initiatives, remedial actions to address emerging vulnerabilities and CVEs.
  8. You represent security in enterprise architecture design meetings to ensure the IT security perspective is properly considered and support the IT strategy roadmap process.
  9. You undertake continuous learning to maintain knowledge of key security technologies in use, emerging IT trends, and best practices.

The skills you'll bring

  1. Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field, e.g., IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Telecoms.
  2. Strong technical background with demonstrable expertise (minimum of 5 years) as an IT security architect in the financial services industry or a similar environment.
  3. Clear understanding of the end-to-end technology delivery lifecycle, with exposure to agile working contexts.
  4. Expertise in Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.
  5. Familiarity with security best practices (NIST especially) and relevant Swiss security requirements.
  6. Security certification such as CISSP/CISM/CeH or equivalent is a plus.
  7. Excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios and the ability to communicate security risk in business terms, as well as to interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
