Its turbogas fleet is already capable of burning between 40 and 70 per cent hydrogen, with the aim of reaching 100 per cent by 2030.PositionJoin the Turbine Development department within gas turbine business in Baden, Switzerland and contribute to the continuous improvement of Ansaldo Energia products.Provide mechanical integrity solutions and lifetime predictions of gas turbine blades and vanesIterate closely with other functional turbine teams like Aerodynamics, Cooling, Design, Manufacturing and Reconditioning to ensure parts meet static and dynamic criteriaIssue and check technical reports and prepare design review materialCapture lessons learned and ensure the integration of field feedback into the designSupport manufacturing process development by providing technical expertiseIssue nonconformity resolutions with Quality and design teamsConduct failure analysis and provide technical feedback to field operation findingsIssue reconditioning specificationsPrepare and support material, part, spin pit and engine tests and validationRequirementsYour profileDegree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualificationMinimum of 5 year’s experience, preferably in high temperature components designExperience in state-of-the-art 3D finite element modelling (ideally ANSYS)Sound knowledge of thermal/structural mechanics, blade dynamics and physics of materialsUnderstanding of gas and steam turbine fundamentalsFluency in English, Italian &/or German language skills are a plusOpen-minded, analytical and target-oriented team player able to work in a multicultural environmentCreative, thorough and independent with good communication skillsAvailability to travel 15% of the time, worldwide.Other informationYour benefit with usWorking with passionate peopleParticipating in environmental sustainabilityChallenging workAttractive and exciting productsInteraction with international colleaguesFlexible working conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
