Your Impact
Isovalent, now part of Cisco, is seeking a technical lead to join our datapath team. As a technical lead, you will develop and help design core parts of Cilium’s datapath, as well as technically mentor other team members.
You will:
- Develop high-quality eBPF code for the Cilium OSS and Enterprise, while following open source development principles and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Participate actively in the open-source community
- Possibility to speak at public conferences about achievements (if desired)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Linux systems design and networking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge about Linux systems design and networking stack
- Experience with Go and Cilium CNI
- Desire to write high-quality and efficient code
- Previous experience in tech lead roles is a plus
- A public track record of open-source code commits is a plus
- Experience in public speaking at technical open-source conferences is a plus
