Your Impact
Isovalent, now part of Cisco, is seeking a technical lead to join our datapath team. As a technical lead, you will develop and help design core parts of Cilium's datapath, as well as technically mentoring other team members. This is an amazing opportunity to join the team that created eBPF and Cilium and push the envelope on the networking of Kubernetes and eBPF.
You will:
- Develop high-quality eBPF code for the Cilium OSS and Enterprise, while following open source development principles and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
- Actively participate in the open-source community.
- Possibility to speak at public conferences about achievements (if desired).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Linux systems design and networking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge about Linux systems design and networking stack.
- Experience with Go and Cilium CNI.
- Desire to write high-quality and efficient code.
- Previous experience in tech lead roles is a plus.
- A public track record of open-source code commits is a plus.
- Experience in public speaking at technical open-source conferences is a plus.
