For our Lugano Branch we are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer (React) to be part of our team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and implement scalable and reliable web applications.
- Develop and maintain thought-out solutions within the team’s responsibility.
- Improve and optimize existing functionalities.
- Ensure high-quality code and performance.
- Work on technical innovation and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge sharing and support other team members in an AGILE and international environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Scientific degree/master, preferably in computer science or engineering.
- Extensive experience in frontend development using React.js and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience with Redux, React Router, React Query, React-hook-form.
- Hands-on experience in software testing tools, such as Jest.
- Good understanding of HTML5, SCSS, and experience in implementing responsive UI designs.
- Previous experience in Financial Services or Cards & Payments industry would be a plus.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Italian is a must.
- Excellent analytic troubleshooting capabilities and problem-solving skills.
Location Requirement:
- Please note that a fully remote work policy is not offered for this role.
- Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland.
- Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy.
