Would you like to be part of innovative and international projects in the Banking area? For our office in Lugano (Switzerland), we are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing automated tests for both backend and frontend systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation tools, particularly Tricentis Tosca, and a strong understanding of Java or C#/.NET, along with practical experience in SQL. You will work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend systems
  2. Understanding requirements and translating those into test scenarios
  3. Troubleshoot and debug issues found during test runs
  4. Ensure the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
  5. Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionalities and develop comprehensive test plans
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience
  2. +5 years of hands-on experience with backend and/or frontend test automation and API testing
  3. Excellent knowledge of tools and libraries such as Tricentis Tosca, Postman, Selenium, Soap UI, JMeter
  4. Practical experience in SQL
  5. Good knowledge of CI/CD Tools such as Jenkins, Github, etc.
  6. Proficiency in Jira and XRAY
  7. Fluency in Italian and English is essential
  8. ISTQB Certification or equivalent would be considered a plus
  9. Experience in an Agile environment
Location Requirement

Please note: We do not offer a fully remote work policy. Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland) or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.). Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy.
