dsm-firmenich are looking for a highly driven and motivated Senior Technician. You will join the Analytical Sciences department in Kaiseraugst, part of Science & Research division, and contribute to our innovation projects success.

Your key responsibilities:
- Independently plan, prioritize and execute qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecules for health, nutrition and beauty innovation projects.
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods based on instructions from the Scientist in charge.
- Deliver high-quality and rigorous analytical results in a fast-evolving research environment.
- Manage samples storage and maintain clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace, including the maintenance of the instruments.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, write SOPs and contribute to scientific reports.
- Actively contribute to the global safety, health and environment protection in the team and beyond.

You bring:
- Apprenticeship (EFZ or CFC) as analytical laboratory technician or Bachelor’s degree with min 3-5 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience in quantitative analysis of ingredients in food, pharma, cosmetic formulations and applications or equivalent, using hyphenated LC and GC techniques.
- Solid practical and theoretical background in the development and validation of analytical methods, notably according to official guidelines.
- Highly motivated, solution oriented, well-organized and collaborative personality with sound knowledge of CDS, LIMS and Office software.
- Interest in laboratory optimization and automation is an asset.
- Fluent in English, good knowledge of German language would be an advantage.
