Financial Crime Control Officer

Aufgaben
  1. Responsible for monitoring the Bank's risks from a compliance and regulatory perspective with a focus on money laundering, bribery, corruption, fraud, financial crime, terrorist financing, sanctions, or embargoes.
  2. Conduct investigations of suspicious transactions with transaction filtering systems.
  3. Handle inquiries from various stakeholders on money laundering.
  4. Monitor sensitive accounts and process blocked accounts.
  5. Advise line managers on ethical behavior and proper conduct of their business.
  6. Update processes and systems in light of regulatory changes.
  7. Contribute to the protection of the bank and its reputation by exercising controls and due diligence.
  8. Contribute to ensuring the highest standards of control.
  9. Mitigate risk to the bank by preventing the use of products and services for illegal purposes.
  10. Responsible for controls to mitigate financial crime with a focus on money laundering or terrorist financing.
  11. Ad hoc project and reporting.
Qualifikation
  1. Degree in economics or law.
  2. Advanced training in compliance.
  3. Professional experience in a comparable position in fraud or audit.
  4. Broad compliance knowledge.
  5. Analytical skills.
  6. Experience in project management.
  7. Fast, precise working style, structured approach.
  8. Ability to grasp complex issues quickly.
  9. Strategic thinking with a high level of commitment.
  10. Flexible and communicative personality with initiative.
  11. High degree of independence in a dynamic environment.
  12. Initiative and assertiveness as well as the ability to set priorities.
  13. Quality-oriented.
  14. Very good communication skills.
  15. Willingness to work in a team in an international environment.
  16. Confident use of MS Office programs.
  17. German and English.
