We look forward to hearing from you PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for assembly of opto‑mechanical and electro‑mechanical components for our laser systems, detailed production recording and the quality inspection and measurement of produced sub‑assemblies. Responsible for inventory in the production line. Responsible for fault finding, generating internal material quality requests, and making improvements to maximise efficiencies. Identifies issues and tests improvements. Gives feedback to product engineers to ensure that design is manufacturable. Maintains up to date skills and training associates with the job. Responsible for in‑house product servicing. Maintains and improved product documentation. Calibrates the performance of production equipment. KEY INTERACTIONS Closed collaboration within Production team, interfacing with Quality and Manufacturing department. LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS Contributes within the team. Plans work allocation. Manages own goals, objectives and KPIs. Manages self within policy and monitors policy. Works with Cell and sets expectations with colleagues. Manages own competencies and job requirements. Works collaboratively at all times. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Relevant degree qualification desirable ie Technical education is a plus. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Organised, structured and methodical. Hands on analytical and target orientated. Manual work experience with high‑tech components and equipment. Technical experience in optics, photonics, or equivalent is a plus. Familiar with basic electrical and optical measurements. Experience in a clean room environment is a plus. Experience with Quality Management systems is a plus. Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high quality products. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED At least two years of experience in the photonics industry. Experience with engineering documentation; bill of materials, work instructions, and assembly process documentation. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to read English capably, spoken English an advantage and Knowledge and experience with the MS Office suite. Kontrolle der Rohmaterialien in der Produktionslinie und Erfassung von defekten Materialien. Rückmeldung an die Manufacturing Engineering Abteilung zur Optimierung der Herstellung. Kalibration der verwendeten Messmittel und Reparatur von defekten Bauteilen. SCHNITTSTELLEN Enge Zusammenarbeit innerhalb der Produktionsabteilung, und Schnittstellen zur Qualitäts- und Manufacturing Engineering Abteilung. PERSÖNLICHE ANFORDERUNGEN Exzellenter Teamplayer, gute Planung der Arbeit und eigenverantwortliche Zielkontrolle. Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein. AUSBILDUNG Ausbildung im technischen Bereich KENNTNISSE UND FERTIGKEITEN Erfahrung im Bereich der manuellen Baugruppenmontage idealerweise im elektronischen bzw. industriellen Hightech‑Umfeld. Technischer Hintergrund in Optik bzw. Photonik ist ein Plus. Erfahrung mit grundlegenden elektrischen und optischen Messungen. Arbeit in Reinraumumgebung. Verständnis von ISO ist ein Plus. ERFORDERLICHE ERFAHRUNG Mindestens zwei Jahre relevante Erfahrung im Laser / Optik- bzw. Maschinebaubereich. Erfahrung mit technischer Dokumentation; Stücklisten und Arbeitsanweisungen. ZUSÄTZLICHE ANFORDERUNGEN Englische Kenntnisse / Verständnis von Arbeitsanleitungen in englischer Sprache. Kenntnisse und Erfahrung im Umgang mit MS Office.
