We are expanding our Flight Control & Simulation Engineer Team, which plays a crucial role in developing and validating high-fidelity flight models for pilot training. Using objective and subjective testing methods, our validation system ensures the highest simulation quality and generates the Qualification Test Guide (QTG) – a crucial step in certifying our Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs). As a Flight Control & Simulation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our simulation framework, refining realistic flight models, and supporting the certification process to meet global aviation standards. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain the MATLAB-based QTG framework for generating QTG’s and integrate new aircraft into the QTG framework Modify and improve flight models Provide support to team members regarding the behavior and performance of aircraft models Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) during subjective flyouts and tuning sessions Expand the QTG framework to comply with additional aviation authority requirements Identify and implement efficiency improvement in simulation workflows Support certification experts for FSTDs by preparing documentation and conducting test YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aerospace engineering, computer science or similar major Strong skills in control engineering Strong programming skills in MATLAB Solid knowledge of Aviation principles and systems Strong communication skills in German (min. B2 level) and English Exceptional organization skills and a commitment to upstanding work ethics Ability to solve complex problems independently Eligibility to work in Switzerland is a must A PLUS WOULD BE Familiar with FSTD certification specifications Experience with C++ programming Experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
