For one of our clients we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician (m/f/d) with experience in working with biological workflows to support the team for 6 months. The position requires the ability to visualize particles and transfer them into units, as well as working aseptically to avoid contamination.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee biological workflows to ensure accurate and efficient processes. This includes setting up experiments, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Prepare and fill units that mimic products, ensuring precision and consistency in the process. This involves handling various biological materials and ensuring they are correctly incorporated into the units
  • Use specialized equipment to visualize particles and accurately transfer them into designated units
  • Working under aseptic conditions as well as maintaining a sterile environment to prevent contamination
  • Produce and assemble units for BI (Biological Indicator) sets, ensuring they meet all required specifications and standards
  • Operate within an airflow hood to protect both the product and the worker from contamination. This involves understanding and adhering to safety protocols
  • Utilize video microscopes to manipulate and examine very small particles, ensuring precise handling and accurate results

Requirements:

  • A degree or apprenticeship in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
  • Excellent scientific and reporting skills
  • Ability to interpret complex analytical data
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good English skills are necessary
