As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.We’re looking for a Data Governance Manager (f/m/d) to strengthen our Data & AI Center of Excellence, which also acts as our Chief Data & AI Office. In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape and scale our data governance capabilities across the organization. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, governance and execution - bringing a hands‑on mentality to ramp up our data domains and data products, and embedding governance into the fabric of our data culture.You’ll help lead our journey toward becoming a truly data-driven organization, where data is owned, trusted, accessible, and central to decision-making. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team that covers the full spectrum of Data & AI Governance—from strategy to operations. With a broad and evolving scope, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape how data is managed and leveraged across the organization. You’ll work with passionate experts and have the freedom to innovate and lead. Most importantly, you’ll be a key enabler of our data & AI-driven journey, helping to embed data as a core asset in every part of the business.Your responsibilitiesDrive the implementation and evolution of our Data & AI Governance Framework.Collaborate with data domain owners and product teams to embed governance into their workflows.Establish and maintain company-wide standards for data management, quality, interoperability and stewardship.Define and track data quality KPIs, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.Support the rollout of data fabric governance models, enabling federated data ownership with a central governance.Guide and support our data stewards on data quality definition and implementing rules.Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to foster a data-first mindset.Champion the adoption of data governance practices that support data democratization and self-service analytics.Assess, report and drive change on data governance related risks and opportunities.Ensure compliance with internal and external data governance and quality standards.Your profileProven experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management in complex environments.A hands‑on, proactive approach with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.Familiarity with data mesh or data fabric governance principles is a strong plus.Experience in agile project environments and cross‑functional collaboration is a strong plus.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.Background in banking or financial services is advantageous.Please note that we cannot consider applications via recruitment agencies for this position.Benefits at LGTA great place to work – a great place to have impact: LGT promotes diversity among its employees.
