Mechanic Engine Inspection (Incoming/Outgoing) Location: Zurich, Switzerland Job code: 8803 We are a world leading Engine MRO service provider, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with over 90 years of operational experience. Working with an extensive network of partners and business development offices in Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East, we offer comprehensive, fully customized solutions for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aircraft engines, airframes and components sales business including impeccable technical support to over 500 customers worldwide. Our mission: We safely power your flight. Tasks Preparation of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines for maintenance, such as unwrapping, de‑preservation, etc. Handling of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines between ship stands, pedestals and trailers in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals. Perform incoming inspection of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals. Report findings to engineering. Perform outgoing inspection of Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56 engines in accordance with the manufacturer's manuals. Initiate corrective actions in case of findings. Documentation of installed Engine Components with Vocollect System. Timely execution and independent self‑control of performed orders. Documentation of activities assigned in accordance with regulations. Continuous improvement of executed processes, aiming improvement of quality and reducing production cost. Profile Completed technical vocational training, preferably specialized in metal (Polymechanics, machine mechanics, automobile mechanics or equivalent) 2+ years of experience In case of field assistance: willingness to travel Willingness to work in two shifts Solid communication skills Problem solving skills Independent, precise, and responsible work Open‑minded, dedicated team player High safety, quality, and cost awareness Solid in MS office and SAP experience German and English Level B1 Benefits We offer an attractive position in a global and dynamic company.
