As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Your Tasks:
  • You join PwC Advisory to become part of our Financial Services Strategy & Transformation Team in Zurich.
  • You develop subject matter expertise at the very heart of how Asset Management and portfolio management including alternative investments, and other FS companies work, both on-site with clients and off-site with our international learning and education offerings and industry collaborations.
  • You advise Asset Management clients and custodians across the full Asset Management value chain and asset classes including portfolio management and the underlying technology platforms.
  • You support Asset Management clients with technical migrations related to portfolio management systems and other AM applications.
  • You advise clients in establishing migration runbooks for post-merger integrations for global asset managers.
  • You will run command centers for large Asset Management system migrations and integrations.
  • You are part of a team that operates strongly in an interdisciplinary environment within PwC. You will be using and building bridges to our fellow teams that work at the technological edge in big data analysis, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation.
  • You are responsible for specific deliverables within your projects, such as project implementation blueprints, work package planning, milestone definitions, business and IT requirements.
  • You work in a global environment with the largest FS companies (banks, insurances, crypto companies, etc.).
  • You live life-long learning; therefore, we will strongly encourage you to deepen your industry knowledge with certifications like CFA, FRM and/or others and support you with them.
Your Profile:
  • You have an excellent University / ETH Master's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology or an adjacent field.
  • Between 8-10 years of experience in the Asset Management and Portfolio Management sector interacting in a global environment.
  • You are an expert in Asset Management, understand the full AM value chain and have multiple years of Asset Management consulting experience.
  • You have extensive experience with Aladdin and SymCorp (as well as their downstream systems) and have worked with those systems before.
  • You are experienced in portfolio migration strategies and know how to establish and execute on migration runbooks.
  • You are experienced in leading projects and running command centers for large integration and migration projects.
  • You have a strong affinity for numbers and logical processes, are excellent with Excel and other quantitative programs, and feel highly comfortable showing your ideas in PowerPoint.
  • You work well in a team, and you are able to work independently when needed.
  • You are a self-starter and fast learner, and can work well under tight deadlines.
  • You wish to start as Senior Consultant? Next to the above, you have 2–3 years working experience in consulting, in a financial services context, implementing end-to-end solutions.
  • You are fluent in English and Italian, other languages are a plus.
  • You are willing to travel to our client's international locations if required but are not disappointed if you are not needed to leave Zurich at all for a given time.
