Your contribution to KPMG

  • As a Senior Manager, you acquire and lead procurement engagements with the objective to transform the procurement Target Operating Model, including the technology landscape.
  • Support our clients in improving the efficiency and quality of their procurement shared service centers / buying centers, outsourcing contracts, decentralized business units, and the strategic partnership of their procurement Business Partners.
  • Design and deliver strategies and solutions to improve processes (such as Source-to-Pay, strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier management, contract management, order management, invoicing & payments), systems, and organizational set-ups of procurement functions.
  • Advise our clients in reviewing their procurement technology landscape and provide insights on market-leading digital solutions for Source-to-Pay / procurement and the adjacent functions.
  • Steer cross-functional projects within larger transformation programs.
  • Foster existing and establish new relationships with procurement leaders such as Chief Procurement Officer, Head of Procurement, and Procurement Transformation Lead.
  • Develop and lead your team of procurement / source-to-pay experts and coach the employees towards our growth journey in procurement consulting.

This is what makes you successful

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business administration, management, business information systems, or similar.
  • 6-8 years of professional experience from procurement projects within a consulting firm.
  • Deep understanding of reorganizations within the procurement function, e.g., procurement KPI benchmarking, business case calculations, design and implementation of procurement Target Operating Models, procurement process optimizations (Source to Pay / Purchase to Pay), procurement technology selection and implementation, setup of procurement shared service centers, outsourcing initiatives, and procurement governance models.
  • Knowledge of systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, etc.), the respective functionalities for procurement process optimizations, and the digital solutions market.
  • An analytical mindset to critically question facts, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German or French are considered a plus.
  • Proven success in business development; a key success factor for a Senior Manager role within KPMG.
