Internship Supply Chain and Sustainability

We are looking for a fluent English-speaking person to join our international team in Schwerzenbach, Canton of Zurich as

Terms of contract: Internship

Start Date: November 2024

Duration: 1 year

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of purchase orders.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of order documentation.
• Organize goods pick-up and delivery to our warehouses.
• Calculate and document supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with a particular focus on On-Time Delivery (OTD).
• Support in keeping up to date suppliers’ price lists.
• Support on sourcing activities.

• Assist the team collaborating with external service providers and suppliers to perform Life Cycle Assessment, establish product sustainability strategy, and obtain EPDs.
• Analysis of manufacturing process data and developing life cycle inventories.
• Working with Excel (or other data formats) to manage comprehensive data and data structures.
• Performing analysis on energy, water, waste, and emissions.
• Preparing and presenting project results in PowerPoint or other formats.

Your profile:

• Degree in management engineering or logistics or economics with focus on supply chain.
• Microsoft Office management at an advanced level (mainly Excel, Power Point).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have an investigative profile with deeper attention to detail, synthesize data, break down business problems.
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks simultaneously to comply with internal and regulatory deadlines.
• Proficient knowledge of English language, German would be a plus.
