Open position

We are seeking a highly dynamic and motivated Hedge Fund Financial Analyst with 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial modeling within an investment bank, a hedge fund or a private equity/financial advisory firm to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in financial and risk modeling, structuring, underwriting, valuation analysis, market research and strategic deal execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, develop and maintain detailed complex financial, risk models and valuation of insurance companies, reinsurance programs and transactions
  • Contribute to the generation and execution of investment ideas, participate in due diligence process, help to assess financial and strategic considerations for prospective investments and deals
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify and analyze trends and opportunities
  • Actively participate in business development initiatives and other strategic projects
  • Prepare reports, presentations and summaries of key financial metrics, performance indicators and market developments
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books, client meeting materials, presentations, and transaction documents

Required qualifications

  • Master’s degree in mathematics, finance and/or economics or related field
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative financial modeling skills,
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and financial modeling technology
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think commercially and to present complex financial concepts clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work independently as team player with an open, flexible and collaborative mindset
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Think critically and creatively to solve complex financial problems
