As part of the Cryogenics/Energy Business Unit, Fives Cryomec AG offers its international customers high-quality solutions, both in terms of products and services.
Your Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our cryogenic pump solutions for maritime and hydrogen applications. You will be working with a varied and international customer portfolio, working with players in the hydrogen industry, shipping and other sectors requiring advanced cryogenic technologies. You will be directly involved in the company's strategic development and actively participate in implementing its sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new clients and market opportunities.
- Negotiate and close contracts while building long-term trust with clients.
- Represent Fives Cryomec AG at trade shows, events, and conferences.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Provide personalized support to existing clients and anticipate their needs.
- Advise clients on technical solutions in collaboration with the technical team.
- Technical Support & Pre-Sales:
- Understand customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals in coordination with internal teams.
- Strategy & Market Analysis:
- Contribute to the development of the company’s commercial strategy.
- Conduct competitive intelligence and analyze market trends.
Your Profile
- Technical Sales degree or equivalent in a technical field (mechanical, cryogenics, energy, or related disciplines).
- 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in industrial or energy sectors.
- Experience in bidding/proposal preparation and the ability to read and understand bid/proposal specifications, both from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities in fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written); additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50% of the time).
