Overview:

The position of Procurement Specialist EMEA is responsible for Restaurant Brands International Procurement key categories. The purpose is to be a key pillar of developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize costs to improve returns on investments and supplier base performance.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  1. Managing end-to-end global procurement projects across Burger King, Tim Hortons, Popeyes, and Firehouse Subs brands.
  2. Defining, creating, and implementing EMEA sourcing strategies for assigned product categories in close cooperation with the Head of Procurement and the relevant stakeholders.
  3. Conducting global RFPs, leading supplier negotiations, and managing key supplier relationships to optimize costs and streamline supplier and product base across EMEA.
  4. Ensures full alignment of Procurement strategies and execution plans with the Business Leaders (Mkt/Ops/SQA/GMs) and Master Franchisees.
  5. Responsible for ensuring the Spend Data System is up to date and used effectively for tender/negotiations/cost-saving opportunities.
  6. Owns and builds selected Supplier Relationships to consistently improve Supplier Performance: Cost/Service/Innovation.
  7. Ensuring compliance with corporate sustainability commitments.
  8. Facilitating innovation projects and new product rollouts in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  9. Providing in-depth analytical support for global procurement projects.

Your skills and experience:

  1. At least 1-3 years previous experience; specific experience in procurement preferred.
  2. Previous experience within QSR or retail companies is an advantage.
  3. At least Bachelor degree, preferably from business or finance area.
  4. Exceptional business and financial acumen; comprehensive knowledge of overall business and its position in the overall marketplace.
  5. Demonstrated ability to drive results through the management of projects, processes.
  6. Very strong Business Analytics: Data & Insight driven; Advanced problem solving skills and analytical capabilities in complex situations.
  7. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to direct and influence others at all levels.
  8. Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  9. An EU/EFTA passport.

Hybrid policy:

Position is a permanent, full time opportunity, based in Zug, Switzerland. We have flexible work policy (4 days in the office, 1 day per week remote).
