We are seeking an experienced SAP PaPM Consultant to join our team and support a high-profile project for Novartis. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining SAP Profitability Analysis and Planning (PaPM) solutions to enhance the organization’s ability to analyze profitability and plan effectively. This position requires hands-on expertise with SAP PaPM and related systems, and the candidate will work directly from our Basel office.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining SAP Profitability Analysis and Planning (PaPM) solutions to enhance the organization’s ability to analyze profitability and plan effectively. This position requires hands-on expertise with SAP PaPM and related systems, and the candidate will work directly from our Basel office.

Key Responsibilities
  • SAP PaPM Configuration & Customization: Configure and tailor SAP PaPM to support robust profitability analysis and planning processes. Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards that empower business decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various business and technical teams to understand requirements, identify issues, and deliver optimal solutions.
  • User Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively leverage SAP PaPM functionalities.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP PaPM, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep abreast of new features, functionalities, and best practices in SAP PaPM and related systems to drive continual improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in configuring and implementing SAP PaPM solutions. Strong knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA and SAP S/4HANA. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SAP SAC is a plus.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: SAP PaPM certification or related credentials are highly desirable.

  • Work Environment: This is an on-site position in Basel, Switzerland. Remote work is not available for this role.
  • Project Details: You will be working on a critical project for Novartis, contributing to strategic initiatives in profitability analysis and planning.
