Earned / Owned Media Executive (all genders / temporary / 100%)

Estée Lauder Companies is a global leader in prestige beauty, offering innovative, high-quality products across skincare, makeup, fragrance, and hair care. We are seeking a passionate Earned / Owned Media Executive (all genders) to join our dynamic Earned & Owned Media Team in Zurich.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement earned media strategies based on the 360° consumer marketing plan.
  2. Execute and refine the earned media plan for the brands, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and marketing goals.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with influencers, journalists, PR professionals, media, and event agencies to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
  4. Monitor and analyze KPIs for print, online, influencer, and social media campaigns to optimize performance and report insights.
  5. Manage and grow owned media channels (Instagram), creating engaging and brand-aligned content.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create compelling campaigns and content.
  7. Participate in project management to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
  8. Utilize your deep understanding of the Swiss media landscape to enhance media strategies.
  9. Work closely with print and online magazines to secure optimal coverage for our brands.
  10. Collaborate with journalists and press representatives in the beauty industry to promote our products and initiatives.
  11. Leverage your significant network of journalists and key influencers to effectively represent our brands.
  12. Organize luxury events to elevate brand presence and create memorable experiences for attendees.
  13. Manage VIP relations to strengthen brand connections with high-profile individuals.
  14. Apply your analytical skills to interpret reports and use these insights to refine and improve brand strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in marketing or communication.
  2. 3-5 years of professional experience.
  3. Professional experience in marketing with a strong emphasis in PR and earned media management.
  4. Background and affinity for the luxury segment with a keen interest in SoMe and current and upcoming trends.
  5. Deep understanding of the Swiss media landscape and experience working with print and online magazines.
  6. Proven experience collaborating with journalists and press representatives in the beauty industry.
  7. Established network of journalists and key influencers who can effectively represent our brands.
  8. Experience organizing luxury events and in VIP relations.
  9. Strong analytical skills to interpret reports and apply insights to brand strategy.
  10. Strong communication and conceptual skills with a hands-on mentality.
  11. Team-oriented, open personality with initiative and strong networking skills.
  12. Experience from a marketing or communication agency is a plus.
  13. Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
