DescriptionThe opportunityAt our competence center “Power Converter Solutions”, we have a leading position in the development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of high-power electronic converters mainly for STATCOM and rail power supply systems. We also provide solutions for hydro pump stations and grid interties. With the help of our highly efficient converters, we contribute to the integration of renewable energies into the electrical grid of tomorrow and at the same time increase the overall system efficiency.To strengthen the service team, we are looking for a highly motivated Project/Tender Specialist who will be key in successful sales, order and project handling of warranty and service projects. If you have a high customer orientation, good communication skills as well as a solution-oriented thinking and working style, this is the right challenge for you.Join our teamHow you’ll make an impactLead and manage service and warranty projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and project successContribute to the improvement of existing processes and tools, fostering innovation and efficiencyOversee service projects and multi-year contracts, acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries and supportUtilize SAP to process orders, plan, and monitor costs and deadlines, ensuring project milestones are metAddress warranty and quality issues with a hands-on approach, ensuring technical excellenceDrive the sales of service projects, preparing competitive quotations and tracking their progressCollaborate with suppliers to request and manage offers, ensuring the best outcomes for projectsYour backgroundBachelor’s or technical degree (FH/HF/TS), preferably in electrical engineering, with an experience in power electronics systems and/or control technologyIdeally, 2-3 years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of successFluent in German and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate in a diverse environmentProficiency in ERP and other relevant software solutions, particularly SAP in SD/CS, with a basic understanding of surrounding modulesKnowledge of contract, change, and claim management to navigate complex project requirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to tackle challenges effectivelyA hands-on mentality with a focus on customer satisfaction and achieving resultsMotivation to make decisions, supported by a collaborative team spirit and strong leadership skillsOpenness to learning and adjusting to changes, fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environmentMore about usOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
