Location: Multiple sites (Zurich, Geneva or Lugano) Contract type: 12 month Contract Industry: Consultancy and Advisory Start date: ASAP Rate: Competitive Overview Our client is seeking a talented AI Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions for internal teams and external clients. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who is passionate about building real‑world machine learning and AI applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and contributing to the growth of AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and test AI solutions (including complex RAG systems, machine learning, deep learning, AI Agents) for diverse use cases. Support deployment pipelines for AI models using modern MLOps tools and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). Implement monitoring systems to track model performance and ensure long‑term reliability and fairness. Write clean, modular, production‑grade code; contribute to reusable components and accelerators. Work closely with senior data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to align solutions with project requirements. Participate in rapid prototyping of AI solutions and assist in evaluating their feasibility and business value. Requirements Experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, RAG systems, and AI Agents. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering practices. Exposure to MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and ML model monitoring. Enthusiasm for solving real‑world problems using AI technologies. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Language requirements: English (must) and either German, Italian or French depending on site preference.
