IS Department Manager – IAM Operations

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be accountable to deliver and orchestrate the delivery of Information Systems (IS) service line operations activities. Each day, you will coordinate with and supervise internal and/or external third-party supplier resources for the effective delivery and operational performance of the services in scope. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring continuous improvement and compliance. The work model for the role is #LI #Onsite. This role is contributing to the IS Services in India/Globally. You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Building IS Security, Risk & Compliance operation activities in cooperation with IS Service Owners and IS Solution Architects.
  2. Actively participating in planning, scheduling, delivering, and releasing onboardings of applications into IAM platform, ensuring compliance with all required internal processes (esp. change management).
  3. Integrating Operation and Build activities (DevOps scope) in collaboration with Build Team.
  4. Playing an active role in the definition of new contracts with Vendors for the operational activities, service levels, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) definition.
  5. Defining levels of monitoring, types of monitoring, and assuring all Consumer Interaction Points Lifecycle Experience are under control and correct support is provided in close collaboration with ABB IS GBS Consumer Experience organization.
  6. Contributing to the IS Service Catalogue, setting directions in the areas of service introduction and end-user support.
  7. Being responsible for day-to-day execution of IS Security, Risk, and Compliance service operation delivery, escalation, and relationship management.
  8. Ensuring service restoration within agreed SLA, business impact analysis, and prioritization in incident management.
  9. Finding the root cause of incidents (defining workarounds, known errors, and root cause analysis), following up on fixing root causes by planning problem resolution and change implementation.
  10. Ensuring Clear Skye (key IAM platform) is stable, available, and properly staffed to rapidly address any incoming issues reported by end customers.
  11. Ensuring Clear Skye allows onboarding of 200+ applications per year with proper analysis, implementation, integration, and documentation.
  12. Coordinating Change and Release Management process in alignment with Service Now platform team to ensure consistency, coherency, adherence to standards and principles, while not losing usability and pace in the delivery of required onboardings.
  13. Providing certain compliance and security not only for Clear Skye but also as a centralized service to IAM customers.
  14. Managing vendors delivering support and build (primarily onboarding) services to ensure their sufficient level of delivery.
  15. Ensuring all KPIs and SLAs for the service managed are under control and effectively monitored.
Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Math, or similar.
  • Certifications required - ITIL V4 foundation, Service Now certifications.
  • Certifications preferred - Identity and Access Management (IAM) technology specific certifications.
