Business Development Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:

Our aim is to be recognized as a leading and trusted B2B food solutions provider in train catering, lounge and event catering, and packaged meals, delivering high-quality culinary solutions for food service and retail/convenience customers.

In this role, you will also support the Head of Global Business Development Catering Solutions in converting business opportunities into realities by creating customized customer presentations and tender material showcasing our USP and unique value proposition.

This role requires a creative yet data-driven commercially focused marketeer who can adapt strategies to diverse markets, identify emerging trends, and bring compelling value propositions to life.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Co-develop & design the value proposition and establish the market positioning of gatesolutions culinary & hospitality solutions creating customized customer presentations and tender material.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts to ensure campaigns are effectively generating leads and driving consistent messaging.
  • Work closely with Group Branding & Marketing to ensure gategroup’s corporate identity and visual standards are properly reflected in customer presentations and other collaterals.
  • Support the roll-out of the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's purpose, values and brand positioning.
  • Conduct and support market research to understand customer needs, trends, and emerging opportunities in the global catering and food service space, and monitor competitors’ activities to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Plan and execute an editorial calendar for gatesolutions; through the creation and roll out of high-quality, engaging and on-brand marketing content for various internal & external platforms, such as websites, fairs, social media, newsletters, videos and marketing print materials.
  • Create internal marketing support for the strategic board, EMB and town hall presentations.

Qualifications

Education:

  • BSc in Marketing, Business or a related field, MBA preferred

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, specifically in an international commercial environment
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing concepts and campaigns that drive growth and customer engagement.
  • Experience with digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strong combination of project management, content creation and analytical skills.

Technical / Language Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Office, an expert in PowerPoint
  • Proficient Graphic Design expertise in Adobe CC Software (InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Proficiency with Social Media Scheduling Tools like Hootsuite and Sprout Social to plan and schedule posts, as well as with Social Media platform analytics and third-party tools like Google Analytics to measure engagement.
  • Experience with Email Marketing Tools.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute across multiple projects simultaneously, while adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing issues and preventing potential impacts on the company.
  • Capability to work in a matrix organization and ability to build relationships cross-functionally to deliver against business priorities.
