We are a Swiss product company, developing a digital platform for the insurance business domain, looking for an experienced Tech Lead to guide one of our back-end teams, responsible for Transactional Data Processing and Premium Calculation & Risk Assessment subdomains.

As a Tech Lead, you will play a critical role in defining the technical vision, ensuring seamless execution, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with our company's strategy. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and teamwork.


What you will be responsible for
  • Lead with Impact: Manage and mentor a back-end SCRUM team of 7 engineers, overseeing technical implementations, programming, and code reviews to uphold exceptional quality standards.
  • Own the Lifecycle: Drive the end-to-end development of features, collaborating with the Product Owner to analyze requirements, designing scalable architectures, launching features to production, and providing ongoing support.
  • Foster Innovation: Contribute to the Engineering Chapter by identifying and implementing tools, strategies, and technologies that enhance processes and encourage innovation.
  • Develop Talent: Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers, empowering them to become self-reliant and technically skilled professionals.
  • Ensure Excellence: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for use by internal teams and external stakeholders.

What makes you a fitEssential Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in a Tech Lead or Team Lead role, demonstrating ownership and the ability to drive technical excellence in a SCRUM environment.
  • Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture, cloud design patterns, and inter-service communication standards.
  • Hands-on experience developing REST APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core Web API.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and with stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • Back-end expertise with PHP Symphony is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical decisions with overarching business goals.
  • Empathetic Communicator: Skilled at conveying ideas and building trust across diverse teams and stakeholders.
