Application Engineer Responsibilities Analyse existing application integrations in the Integration Layer and redesign them to align with the new core banking system Collaborate with consumer application teams to understand data flows and define required changes Implement, test, and document modifications to integration interfaces and data pipelines For solutions where the Integration Layer contains business logic, specify and rebuild the logic using data from the new system of record Ensure smooth data import/export functions and adapt related workflow steps Support migration, upgrades, and development activities in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC Develop, validate, and maintain data workflows within Dataiku DSS Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure stable operations across dependent systems Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable development tasks Must-have criteria Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts and performance considerations Hands‑on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, including upgrade or migration work Experience working with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Professional experience using Dataiku DSS Solid understanding of banking processes and data models Ability to redesign and adapt business logic using new data sources Nice-to-have criteria Experience with complex workflow automation and orchestration tools Familiarity with modern data integration patterns and best practices Background in enterprise‑scale system migrations Knowledge of other ETL tools or cloud‑based integration platforms Experience working in cross‑functional technical teams Interest in new technologies, prototyping, and continuous improvement 12 months with the option of extension Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Financial Services, Banking, and Investment Banking #J-18808-Ljbffr
