Our site in Oberentfelden is a centre of excellence for the development, production and service of metal-encapsulated, gas‑insulated high‑voltage switchgear, their components & drives. If you want to be part of a major adventure at the heart of the energy transition in Europe and have a passion to drive large & complex projects with multi‑cultural international teams, we want to hear from you Your Mission Ensure the safe and efficient installation, supervision, and handover of onshore and offshore Gas Insulated Switchgears, while adhering to technical standards, EHS regulations, and maintaining clear communication with clients, contractors, and project managers. Main Responsibilities Primary and secondary installation of Onshore and Offshore Gas Insulated Switchgears according to SOPs and safety regulations Read and understand technical drawings; follow and amend standard work procedures for Gas Insulated Switchgear installation Basic knowledge of Local Control Cubicles (LCC) Supervise usage of manpower, equipment, and tools on construction site Proficient operation and use of electrical, mechanical and testing tools and equipment Comply with company values, internal EHS regulations, and relevant organizational processes of the management system Handover installed Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) to the client Communicate with client and contractor during installation Weekly reporting to site coordinator and project manager about progress and status Your Profile EU citizen eligible to work in EU and US Electro‑mechanic or similar technical training Practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical and testing equipment Capability and flexibility to work at remote sites (domestically and internationally) in adverse weather conditions Readiness to work on offshore platforms and wind modules Negotiation skills Leadership skills Fluent in English, good knowledge of German Why We Come To Work At GE Vernova, our employees are always up for the challenge – and we’re always driven to find the best solution.
